I think this is actually a good contrast with the other series 1883. Basically you have all these people dying on a trip from Texas to Montana. One guy falls off a wagon and is run over and dies, but then you have Jimmy and Taylor Sheridan making the trip with ease in their trucks hauling horses. Have to think Sheridan was trying to say something with this.
